It's a beautiful course. Greens are in great shape, large with interesting slopes. Fairways are very generous. Bunkers are well placed. Excellent range, practice green, beer cart came around 3 times, pace of play 4 hrs... I enjoy this course every time, hope it never changes. Lots of fun from the back tees for better players. If it was 30 minutes closer to Raleigh, it would be swamped constantly and probably 30-40 more expensive. Thankfully it isn't!

course was fun, in great shape and the people who work here, talk about southern hospitality, this is it the fairways are open, so very friendly to the 20 handicaper, the trees that surround the course are just beautiful if you are lucky enough to be here, play it thank you butch and tim for a great day

Belmont Lakes is a beautiful course, but it is clear that the members have a balantant disdain for public play. A member verbally attacked us for driving our golf cart into the parking lot to unload after a very hot round. We apologized and explained that we had never played the course before , and we didn't know the rules, but he continued to \hammer home\ that there were signs!! Hot, tired, and ready to go we missed the all important \sign.\ Regrettably, I will never play there again, which I hate since it is such a great course.

Very nice course all around. Largest fairway I've ever played on in my life. Helped my score. I will play again to get confidence to hit the big stick.
