Teresa's Bitchin' Kitchen

Went in to look for some simple yellow gold posts. The young lady was kind and very helpful. She showed me some white gold earrings but I quickly told her I cannot wear them because of allergies to nickel and zinc. She showed me a pair of yellow gold, screw back posts with yellow diamonds. They were gorgeous but way out of my price range. I told her how much I had to spend and she suggested I stop in on a Saturday and talk to Christopher. She explained that the jeweler, Christopher split his time between the Rockford, IL and Beloit WI location. She said he was in Rockford most of the week but was always in Beloit on Saturday's. I look forward to stopping by and seeing what he can do for me on a limited budget. The interior of the store was beautifully decorated in a simple classy way. The display cabinets are tall and well lit. Lots of beautiful jewelry that you will never see at a box store. I suggest stopping in and looking around if you're in the mood for something special.

My husband found me a unique engagement ring. We discovered that the ring had no matching band so I was very stumped on what to do. Straight bands did not compliment the ring and nothing fit the style. That’s when I went to Christopher, a master jeweler. He took time to sit down with me, drawing out exactly what I had been dreaming of. My jaw dropped when I saw how perfect the wedding band is. It is completely custom to my engagement ring and I could not be happier! 10/10 recommend Christopher.

I took my grandparents wedding bands to have them made into a single ring. There was a pattern that was still able to be seen on one and Christopher was able to replicate it so well that if I didn't look close, I thought it was still the original ring. The piece turned out to be a beautiful tribute and I will enjoy wearing it.

Fantastic service. The gentleman who helped me on my first visit was very professional, and patient, as I was horribly undecided on what wedding band I wanted. After awhile I decided, and upon coming back a few days later I was able to meet Christopher; who was also a pleasure to speak with. When I inquired about restoring an old class ring I had he did it on the spot, and did an -amazing- job. Would recommend, will return anytime I have jewelry needs!

I had a wedding set that had sentimental value but was ready to let it go. I had many referrals to a well known local jewler Christopher. I visited the store and the gentleman informed me that christopher himself would need to give a offer since the value was above his range. I returned and Christopher the jewler declined to make an offer. He referred me around the corner and said that the store around the corner would be interested in the 3ct. diamond wedding set. As a respected jewler of our area, I took his recommendation and visited the store. The wait staff was very interested in the diamond rings. They used several testers and tossed my rings around on their counter. This was very rude and unprofessional. I couldn't hardly believe the attitude, and as if that wasn't enough, the offer was insulting. I returned to Christophers show room and told him of my experience. He said he would take the rings apart and custom make jewlery. That was acceptableto me. But he himself wasn't ready to make a offer. I wasn't wanting a pawn shop experience and I nearly felt like I was being swindled.
