We would like to thank Dr. John and his staff at Belrose Veterinary Hospital for the exceptional care and support they offered to us and our beloved dogs, Ralph and Scotty. Dr. John is very professional and provided extensive and compassionate care and support for our dogs when we it needed most, which reflects his love for animals. Dr. John and his team are highly trustworthy and we have been very fortunate to have them look after our dogs. We cannot recommend a better veterinary clinic to anybody who is searching for the best quality care for their pet. We look forward to introducing our new puppy to them in the near future, who will be lucky to receive the best healthcare and guidance a dog could ever have. Sadly we had to say goodbye recently to this very good boy. The care & compassion shown by Emily was enormously appreciated. We were all beside ourselves at having to say bye to Tycie. He lived a wonderful 13 years and was always well cared for at Belrose Vet. Highly recommended are this team.

Dr Lisa Shaw is incredible. My puppy had jaw problems and I was recommended by a vet to be reviewed by Lisa. Misha (my puppy) had dental surgery and it was heading in the direction of a second surgery. This was when I was referred to Lisa. I trusted her care and knowledge so much that I happily travelled 90minutes every 1-2 weeks (no charge for the quick check ups and very reasonable consultations) to see how my puppies jaw was developing for almost 2 months. She took the time to explain what was going on with her jaw and also emailed me information such as exercises to prevent surgery. In the end, Misha didn’t need a second surgery and I believe it was purely based on Lisa’s expertise, wisdom and care. Thank you so much!

My Kelpie x Jet had been to three different vets and hated them all equally. Then we found Dr John, and ever since, going to the vets is a fun experience. Jet and Baxter both can't wait to get out of the car to go and see Dr John-my kids love going and seeing Pebbles the lizard too.

I have been taking both my dogs to Dr John for 2 years now & I recommend his clinic whenever an opportunity presents itself (like now!). Each & every visit has involved skilled, professional treatment along with a deep sense of caring & interest in all aspects of the animal's life & circumstances. The rates he charges are always very fair, but I would pay more just to have the level of care he provides. Dr John & his staff are always willing to assist, even at short notice. In my own experience he has gone above & beyond his duty, going out of his way to care for both of my 4 legged girls. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
