I have mixed reviews. Some of the staff is wonderful. However, some of their staff is abhorrent. They did not feed my mother one morning. One day I brought my mom something and someone stole the beverages I bought her. They did replace these. Today my mom told me the staff was mocking her, and while I was on the phone with her, I did hear staff making crying noises which is totally unnecessary for any working adult to make. So it leads me to believe what my mother said. Some people have no compassion and should not be working with elderly. As soon as I can, I will get my mother out of this facility. Remember what city this is located in. The beautiful facility does not matter when you have staff like that. Update. I had the opportunity to meet with the administrator and visit the facility. It makes a world of difference to be able to do so. I do understand that there will be issues at every facility. I want to be fair in my review and I am pleased with what I have seen for myself.

An awesome place to have to do rehab from surgery I felt as if everyone went above and beyond in making my stay there awesome. they ;made me feel like I was family and that is the way my care was. I loved the PT team and they made my getting well enough to go home much quicker due to the had work both of us put in, the private room for me to stay in while rehabing was very spacious, clean and easy to use my wheel chair and walker in . there was a comfy chair for family to visit along with a table and chairs that could be moved for visitors or enjoy you meal in your room. as for the food services there were a lot of choices along with daily specials. there was nothing that I ate that was not homemade and made to my order. I would recommend to everyone if you have a loved one that has to go to rehab bring them her they will be treated as if they were family, Every one was great and always had a smile.

This review is for the independent living apartments. I have lived here for 1.5 yrs and I am happy here. I love the staff here, they are pleasant and helpful. The activities are fun and wide variety of choices. Transportation services to doctors appointments and shopping are reliable with safety conscience drivers. Housekeeping services are wonderful too, always friendly and a job well done. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is because the food service could use improvement and repair work isn't always done timely.

My grandfather has lived at Carnegie Village for some time. For many years he lived in the Independent Living building. It is similar to a hotel. It offers several dining options and lots of friendly faces. My grandfather now resides in the skilled nursing/rehab building. It is clean and professional. Any time there is an issue (which is rare ) they are quick to correct and fix it. I am so happy he is in such good hands.

This review is specifically for the skilled nursing/rehab building of Carnegie Village. My mother has Alzheimer's and has been in this facility for over a year now. Every time I visit her I'm so impressed with the care that the staff takes to make sure she's always showered, well entertained and happy. She's talkative and feels included in all the activities. They have a weekly happy hour with music and she always enjoys that, as well as craft classes and exercise sessions. This is such a weight off our minds to have her live the rest of her days in a place that makes her so happy. The staff is also very efficient, and always keeps us up on her health status if anything changes.
