Edit: 1 star for bartender giving me a lone star based on reading my last review. I wish this place was better. I would come here all the time. Really really nice views, but the food has been disappointing. I came back for the chicken and waffles after a bad first time here and I just couldn't do it. The waffle was awesome, the chicken tenders were thigh meat and gristle. (Also one old half of a strawberry--I guess for attempted aesthetics?) One chicken breast on waffles would be good. All White meat and no bone or cartilage. Charge me more! The prices here are really low. Up the quality and up the cost. Please. Service is good here. The views are good. Just like, don't depend on the food to make you happy. I'll come back in the summer for drinks (after I eat somewhere else first). Cracker Barrel on the way home I guess...

Amazing view especially around sunset, one of the best restaurants in the area for ambience and the availability of outdoor seating with superb service, but food-wise, especially their seafood was just ok. Wasn't a big fan of their fried oysters, batter had too much cornstarch making it hard, same problem with their country fried steak, Cajun pasta, too much cream, but the calamari was decent and the burger was on point. Definitely a great night spot for dinner but the food was a miss.

So we read good things but we're disappointed. We were one of at least there tables returning good and waiting too long for replacements. My husband's plate was ice cold and had to be redone. Drinks weren't topped off regularly. Maybe they were having an off night, but with covid seating and half the restaurant empty, it doesn't seem that the kitchen should have been so ill prepared or so disastrous. Our waitress disappeared countless times and I had to go looking for someone to take my husband's plate back, ask for refills, etc. She was nice, but overwhelmed. Maybe we will try again when we were in the area.

Best fish ever. Very light tasting. Perfect seasoning. Greatest atmosphere of all. Excellent view. Professional wait staff. Abundant parking. I recommend dead fish grill. Reasonable menu prices.

Good atmosphere and food. We were just passing through but we would definitely come back again if in the area. Obviously, this is a fish place so we stuck with seafood. Blackened fish was perfectly seasoned. Hush puppies are excellent. Surprisingly, the best dish was the kids mac-n-cheese! Amazing. The Hot Chocolate Bomb was probably season, but don't waste your money.
