First of all there system is really different, there is a buffet where you can get your choose of salad. The waiters come to your table and cut the meat in front of you like the picture shown below. The waiters and waitresses come from different countries. They always have a smile when they approach you. Also they speak in a mannerly way and there really polite. After the food they served us with a very healthy cinnamon and pineapple snack. The whole thing was just the style of Brazil and it was amazing!
I sent my friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The the food there is flavorable and the team is welcoming and cooperative. always when we go to this place we have a cheerful evening. highly recommended.
NOT HALAL Visited the deansgate branch in Manchester. I had made clear we are only to be served halal food. After a few plates, I had noticed that the waiter serving the cuts of meat was using the same knife for both pork and halal meats. I questioned the qaiter on this and he stated that he wipes the knife down between serving different meats. this is not what I saw happen. but surprisingly after I questioned him on this he started sanitising the knife. We stopped eating, to be on the safe side. Also mentioned this to the manager, and his response was that they use different knives. not coinciding with what the waiter had previously said about wiping the knife down. appears that there is a lack of adequate process to ensure halal requirements can be met the manager offered to discount the bill, but we refused. it was not a matter of money, the manager would have done better to reassure us that he would look into resolving the cross contamination issue. If you are wanting a halal restaurant to dine at. Bem brasil deansgate is not one to consider.
Great choice of meat and great quality to go with it. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is quite spacious. At the price point though I was just expecting a bit more. If they could have added a fish item and maybe a couple of desserts (as there are none) it would have got five stars from me. But a good experience nonetheless
