We stopped in Benavente on the way to Madrid and the first place we found open at 3pm was this tavern. Very tasty fried food. We had the lamb and pork. Good beer. Good friendly service. Tables outside in the little public garden or inside the well frequented tavern. Plenty of parking on the street ( check meters ).
