A great up and coming business with a brain behind the wonder of van modifications. I have had my van modified by Ian at ActionVan, and was not disappointed. Everything planned was talked about before, and during the process to confirm all changes made were the way I intended them to be. Ian truly showed that he stands by his work ,and has a real passion for his profession. It truly showed in the final product.

I was quoted 500 for the installation of a diesel heater in my van, under the passenger seat. If you have done any research about vans, you will know that this is the standard location, with standard equipment. The final price was an extra 150. That's fine, sometimes things take longer. When I went to turn it on the first time, I had an exhaust smell in the cabin. This should be impossible with the design of the heater. Upon investigation, the hole to install the heater in was extremely poorly cut. Cut marks are visible where the "professional" van installer lost control of the saw they were using. A saw is not even the right tool for this! You can see the plastic of the heater from the bottom of the van. there is a 1/4-1/2 inch gap where water, air, and exhaust can come into the van. After looking farther, and measuring, that is because the hole was cut the wrong size! the hole is bigger than the mounting/sealant plate. At no point was I told a mistake was made, and living in a van, I couldn't exactly go back to get it fixed. I had to buy a tube of silicone and seal it. Works great now, but that's due to the product, not the installation. If this is the kind of thing they mess up on a simple job, what else is wrong with their builds?
