I’ve eaten at probably 25 different Cracker Barrel‘s across the country. This was my first visit at the store. The one thing I find is the food is very consistent. On this visit I tried the grilled cat fish and eggs And was somewhat disappointed. I believe the catfish was slightly undercooked however the seasoning was flavorful. The grits and gravy came warm but not hot. I think this was a result of cold plates. The waitress was very friendly and attentive and provided very excellent service. I’m in the area for a few days so I’ll go back and try this Cracker Barrel again.

At 3PM they were completely out of bone in chicken. The food we got was warm at best. Nothing was hot. The biscuits and corn bread was the worst I've ever had. Definitely not going back. Service was fine. Very friendly.
We had the opportunity to visit and dine at this restaurant, which was a disappointment. I ordered the Chicken fried steak with brown gravy)lactose intolerant). What I received was mashed potatoes w/ brown gravy and Chicken Fried Steak w/cream gravy. I informed the waitress of the mess up. No problem, it’ll be a few minutes for another steak. That’s what I got ten minutes later. A hot steak w/ brown gravy and cold whole corn and mashed potatoes from the original plate.
It was delicious! I have food allergies and can't eat at many restaurants. I asked a bunch of questions, my waitress was the best and got me the answers! I highly recommend the the Maple bacon grilled chicken! So so good!!
Food and service were good. Only seating at 25% right now. Had a bit of a wait. Make sure you check in when you first walk in. Then browse throught the store.
Could have been better. We've never experienced Cracker Barrel running out of their Signature Fried Chicken. Even the cashier said she'd never heard of that. They also completely forgot my wife's order.
Don’t listen to the people giving it a one star. The wait staff is very kind and courteous although a little forgetful. I had to ask for a few things they forgot to bring but they were more than happy to accommodate me. Obviously, the food isn’t at the same level as a 5 star expensive restaurant, but as someone who was raised on humble homemade meals, this food made me feel right at home and was better tasting than I think some of the reviews are giving it credit for. It was my first time going to a Cracker Barrel and I will say that the business model of having to walk through a cute little shop on your way out after a good meal is very effective. They have just about everything you can think of and nothing is placed to attract the consumer’s attention. It’s all just put up in random places leaving the customer feeling like it’s up to them to find something they like which makes you walk around the shop more and more. Overall I’d say Cracker Barrel is a nice, wholesome place to get some decent comfort food and some cool little souvenirs. I might even buy a franchise someday.
Friendly staff, great service, and amazing food... Mac and cheese was soooooo good
