One of the famous food joint in Basavanagudi from the 20 years is SLV Coffee Bar. It had to be your obvious choice if you are in and around Netkalappa Circle / Gandhi Bazaar. On a serious note the Idly Sambar used to be of very high quality here. But the sambar wasn't sweet enough and didn't go well with the dip. Kinda disappointed on my visit, but definitely I hope it will be taken care & I will be pretty impressed on my next visit.

AVALAKKI & TEA . . . @Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Coffee Bar (Nettakallappa Cir, Basavanagudi) . . . This place serves great Food i Tasted avalakki & tea. And maddur Vada all dishes superbly tasty avalakki was bit salty but maddur vada was awesome idli and Uddina vada are very popular also anna rasam and sambar are also worth tasting Small place with a great location and serving delicious foods.One of the oldest restaurants of Basavanagudi totally worth the money

Must try idli and chutni. Chutni is very tasty. Well maintained and hygenic place. They serve in arecanut vessels ( one time use only) and they heat the glasses which are used for drinking. Sanitizer is available at the entry.

This place serves great food.I had idlli with chutney, kesari bath and tea. Vadas are available post 7:30and the food starts at 6:30.There is also option for sambar if you dont like chutney then.Small place with a great location and serving delicious foods.
