the service is bad I went with all the document nèeded to review the foster care Grant .the tall guy wit gray hair he wanted my bank statement .shocking coz I have been receiving the grant and told me to come some other day coz they are stopping to work. went and came back they were still working old lady assisted me she didn't want that bank statement. then I waited for the varification as I was almost finished after an hour they called my name to say I must come back next week for verification. question is how much time does the verification take? two minutes , they don't care about people even the supervisor (Indian guy) does not monitor them. we spend money to go there and they don't care. am proud about that lady she is one of the best and it not the first time she does her work well the guy who always enjoy to be outside all the time turning people back always really and truly they must do something about it. and investigate how many people he have help
One star is far too much... Security were incredibly rude. Decided to go to Germiston where we had unbelievable service from staff and security!
Service provided is utterly awful. Employees are giving me the run arounds as they refuse to give attention to my application.I tried reaching the headquarters but that was also a dead end. I'm said to be using someone's ID whereas home affairs is aware of that issue. I've since been left in the dark for several weeks.One employee by the name of MZWAKE made a fool out of me during my visit there.Till this day, my application hasn't been processed.
After standing in a que for 6 hours WE were told to decide if we wanted to keep on queuing or go home.
First the security at the door made me sit in the wrong queue for about an hour when it was my turn to get assisted I get told that I was in the wrong queue where I get directed to another queue to someone else where I was waiting for another 30min just to get turned away with the words they can't help me coz the area I live in doesn't fall under Benoni but it's the nearest SASSA office to VanDykpark..... is it coz I'm white or the fact that we complained for sitting in the wrong queue the security told me to sit in & wait. Staff was honestly so rude.
Very disorganized and the wait is horrendous. People start queuing from 5am and sometimes still don't get seen to. Simple signage or posters with a few guidelines on which counter to go will go a long way to help many confused people.
