Jessica Bensky is both knowledgeable in and a skilled practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, treating the person holistically. Her warm demeanor and compassionate touch is comforting, and she continually encourages positive changes toward greater health recognizing that the process can be a 'one step forward, two steps back' but with increasingly forward progression over time. Chinese medicine is thousands of years old and its wisdom is a great alternative--or companion--to Western practices. Bensky Family Acupuncture, helping your body heal yourself, is a jewel!

Jessica's treatments and care have been wonderful! She helped us conceive our second child and then helped our baby flip from breech in time for a natural delivery. When I was having trouble with my thyroid postpartum she was able to treat the imbalance and when I returned to the doctor all five nodules on my thyroid were gone! I know what she does is a science but she certainly works her magic and I feel so much better since receiving her care!

Jessica has really helped me and my daughter heal! My daughter (age 16) was having very long, painful periods, lasting up to 30 days. After an ultrasound, the doctor recommended that she go on birthcontrol and wanted to treat her for polycystic ovarian syndrome. We decided to try acupuncture first. I had been seeing Jessica already, who had been helping me to heal after hormones from surrogacy got my system out of whack. After only one treatment and using herbs, my daughter's period was only 5 days long, the cramps were manageable, and the follow up ultrasound showed that the cysts were GONE! Jessica helped us avoid dangerous hormones for my teen and we are hoping to preserve her fertility naturally!

I have had sciatic pain for years, and recently developed mild tendonitis in my shoulder. In one treatment, the tightness in my lower back eased and the pain in my shoulder was significantly reduced. I have never had an acupuncture treatment before, and Jessica was exceedingly professional and explained everything she was doing, which I really appreciated. The treatment room was clean and quiet. Jessica is very passionate about her job. I came to her because the fertility doctor could no longer help me. After 3 miscarriages and over 20,000 in fertility treatments, I almost gave up. I was depressed and exhausted. I new there was hope somewhere. I have endometriosis, My tubes were blocked and I was told I had very low ovarian reserve. Along with poor quality eggs. Jessica was able to treat the endometriosis and unblock my tubes with chinese herbs and accupuncture. She told me it would take 3-4 months. I was pregnant in 3 and a half!! It was a miracle. I now have a healthy baby girl. Thank You Jessica!

She works with both acupunture needles (that don't hurt!) and Chinese herbs, a combintation I have found very helpful with alleviating symptoms and resolving issues related to gynocology and endocrinology. Jessica is also an attentive and compassionate listener and always has insightful thoughts to share relating to physical and emotional health (which are not viewed as seperate in Chinese medicine), diet and digestive wellness, and self-care.
