Nice stopover for a hot day - and also a good place to know the history of this old tin mining town, which is the home of the famed Mr. Loke Yew (he with the long road in KL named after him)... And there was also a cool exhibit of the utensils used for tin mining along with some outdated gadgets including typewriters, dumb phones, phonograph player, rotary telephone, and even a Singer manual sewing machine... And since it was also my first time in Bentong in years, I had to get a small souvenir as well!

As a local, finding a real good cuppa is hard to come by. The beans that they use has always been premium, hence the price reflects the good quality. Complimentary drinking water is served unless another cafe in the vicinity whose boss insists on charging drinking water by glass. Staff are attentive. Anyway , being a coffee addict, i have found solace and tranquility and happiness in a cup of latte here.
Very cozy place. Can view the history of Bentong town. Free entrance. A star deducted due to super pricey f&b. Double/ Triple price of the nearby restaurant.
The environment & service is excellent
