Beautiful & soothing, peaceful. Stayed at Manjushri guest house, very nice. I always take time 1hr to travel there when I'm off on weekend as it's really worth it. Whenever I'm there, I feel happy, joyful & in peace. The volunteering work is so meditative & I enjoyed it very much. A lot of KL people travel up there for activities , volunteering or prayers.

Tibet temple in mid hill, just about 5km from Bentong town. Felt spiritual when visiting the temple here. Basically the temple here is clean and huge. They have a small garden behind the temple with some birds in cage there. There is a security check upon entering the premises. It is open daily from 10am 5pm. The staffs were friendly and helpful. However the parking slots are limited so you are required to park a little far. Luckily that you are able to drop off your passengers in front of the hall. Also it took too much time to register all passengers inside the same car at the security which took too much of our time.

Located about 6 km from Bentong town, Kechara Forest Retreat is located on a hilly area and is open 10am to 5 pm daily. There is a security gate where we were asked to provide a driving license after which we drove to the main shrine hall which is Wisdom Hall. We were greeted by one of the staff who was very friendly and helpful. We paid respects in the main shrine hall and also at a stupa and various images on the grounds. We spent some time here in our own contemplation in beautifully groomed gardens.

This Tibetan Buddhism temple, not far from Bentong Town, worth a visit. It is quite new and some parts are still under renovation. The compound occupied a vast land area with very nice flourish landscaping. The Buddha status in the main hall are majestic and stately.
