My son was invited to a birthday party to Great Day Skate Place. With my son's needs he was unable to skate as they do not choose to purchase skating supports. This was very disappointing as my son kept stating he likes the other place better because he could skate there. When speaking to staff it was mentioned it was due to a step down onto the floor...which everyone has to do in skates. An excuse that could be remedied or agued if you really wanted to be sure to include all parts of the community. The effect is greater than just not being included in a birthday activity, it caused the family and other participants to feel bad and took away from the birthday celebration. It also is one of the reasons children with disabilities get left out from being invited to birthday events, because it is perceived they cannot participate, and if the business owners in the area don't choose to include, then no one else can either. The ripple effect is greater than you might think. Please take note, Autism Involves Me has a grant program for this very purpose and there may be many others that will provide monetary support for purchasing of accessible equipment. On a positive note, my son enjoyed the games and vending activities.

We had alot of fun. Its a great place to go even if you have never skated before. Great for beginners.
Skate at your own risk. No masking required and was very crowded. Hopefully during the daytime hours it's not as busy but on a Saturday night it definitely was.
Been going here since the 1990's lol love taking the kids there for birthday parties..
My kids absolutely love this place Miss Rose the wonderful woman great family environment lots of fun I know my kids are safe when I leave them there Miss Rose's wonderful woman who wouldn't let anything happen to any of the kids that skate there. Good place for a first date.
