Decent onsen. A little pricy 1,200 The hot springs are sulphuric so be prepared to smell like sulphur after use. I used the facilities on the first floor. They alternate the floors each day for men and women. (Example: IF Monday - women on 1st floor, men are on the 2nd floor; Tuesday women on the 2nd floor then men are on the 1st floor.) The 1st floor has one partially indoor pool, a glassed hut with a semi jacuzzi, 3 small ceramic tubs with varying degrees of heat (warning the farthest from the entrance is cold water), one big outdoor pool, steaming cupboards that you sit in and it targets everything from the neck down and a room to the left of this that I didn’t explore. Overall very good place and there are facial lotion and milk available at each sit-down mirror in the changing area.

Environment and atmosphere are good. Family Onsen is another building down to road. Bath hygiene can be improved coz we found some hairs floating on the water. Service is very good particularly having a foreign staff speaking in English.

What a lovely onsen! Entrance fee is 1200, you trade your shoe locker key for a clothing locker key, and proceed to either the first or second floor down from reception (bathing is separated, and the male and female floors alternate days). Both floors have soothing white sulphur baths. The bottom floor has more extensive outdoor bathing, while the middle floor has more inside bathing space. Both are lovely. There's a relaxation room for napping, and an adjoining drinks bar with lounge chairs and lovely views down to the sea. Highly recommended!

Really great place for an onsen. Tattoos allowed and not judged. Things to remember: remove shoes as soon as you walk in the door. Place shoes in a locker to the right and take key to the counter. They will give you another key for a clothes locker. They have towels if required. The lovely ladies on the front counter will give you instructions with google translate if you don’t speak Japanese. Remove all clothing including swimmers and wash yourself completely before entering the pools. There are a number of pools here and little saunas that you hope right inside. The general entry was 1200y. Great place

Perhaps the best onsen I have ever been to. It was not crowded at all during the week when I went, and while it was an hour walk to get there for us, it was absolutely worth it. The pools are natural sulfur pools, but they have fresh water tubs (hot and cold) a mini personal sauna that you close and sit in while your head sticks out the top, and an amazing view. It was absolutely gorgeous with a nice facility and accommodating staff. Even the charcoal shampoo (which you can purchase) and the onsen baked egg with salt left an impression. This place is an absolute hidden gem.
