The food tastes amazing and the prices are pretty reasonable as well. Good enough for students to enjoy. It seemed like there were only two staff and so it took a while for us to receive our orders however they are very hospitable which makes up for it. It has a very cozy vibe to it as well. They have a secluded Downstair area as well as a nice counter area on the second floor with a good view overlooking the busy kitahama street.
Dont bother and save your money. Its probably good isakaya for beer, but food was weak at best. Chicken was undercooked and in parts almost raw. Non-meat skewers were half-heartedly prepared. Maybe kitchen had bad day but it was really disappointing. At least edamame was good...
A really amazing Izakaya. The grilled meats are top notch. The owner is kind and the restaurant is foreigner friendly. Oitas famous toriten can be eaten here. Pardon the English I am super sleep deprived at the moment.

炭火でちゃんとした焼き鳥です。 うまし。 お店の雰囲気も良いです。
初めて行きましたが、タクシー運転手のおすすめでしたが、全くの期待はずれ、注文した品物は来ないし、聞いたら順番に出していますのでって、客をどのように思っているのか ？ 本当に、茶髪のメガネが可愛そうになりました。 お金いらんわとか言いながら、全くお金返す素振りなし。 レシート下さいと言えば、そんなもん出えへんわ、って経営者なんだろうか？ まあ、残念な対応と、ビニール手袋から震えながら小銭触ってその手で焼き物やいていると思ったらかなり残念です本当に本当に残念で可哀想。
祝日にも関わらず行ってみると空いててカウンターのみで予約席じゃないのにNG。店主からカウンター以外に座るのなら帰ってくださいとのこと。入って呼んでも誰も出てこないですし、案内もなしの上での高圧的な態度...運営体制が整って無さすぎる。もう二度と行きません。
