Only had dinner here. Limited vegetarian selection, but the dish we had was great! Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Wandering the Black Forest, late on a week night and came across this gem of a restaurant (part of the hotel). Even walking in 15 minutes to closing time, the owner was happy to serve us, and took great care making fresh, excellent food for us--probably the best meal we have had in our week here--and the cheapest! We will be going back again before leaving--worth the short drive from Schluchsee!

Amazing guesthouse ! Very good rooms, comfy beds, cheap price. The restaurant is amazing with regional dishes. Super cheap drinks and very friendly staff. We’ll come back!

Die Unterkunft ist äußerst idyllisch gelegen und gibt dem Gast richtigen Schwarzwald-Flair. Auch die Sauna ist großartig und der Weiher nebenan bietet eine traumhafte Möglichkeit sich hüllenlos abzukühlen. Einzig negativ anzumerken ist, dass die Chefin der Unterkunft phasenweise nicht gut gelaunt ist. Im Volksmund würde man auch "garstig" sagen. Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, die von uns mit 4 Sternen bewertet wird.

Leider ein totaler Reinfall. Ginge mit großen Erwartungen hin um die Schwarzwälder Gastfreundschaft näher kennenzulernen. Davon war allerdings nichts zu spüren, eher im Gegenteil. Wurden sehr lustlos empfangen, als ob wir sogar ein Störfaktor sind. Entsprechend verlief auch der Abend. Abweisend und sehr kühl. Das Essen selbst war auch nicht gerade der Hit, da extrem zäh. Habe ziemlich schnell dann auch wieder das Weite gesucht. Keine Empfehlung.
