Excellent Breads and Pastries. Even Lunch style Ham n' Cheese Pastries. Very affordable Prices and a Huge selection. I always take a few items home when Visiting the Telegraph area. My Friends & I can't wait to Visit this Bakery when we are in Town.

The pastry were pretty good overall, but their lotus egg yolk mooncake had no lotus at all...
Very affordable, friendly staff and such an abundant collection of pastries, buns and cakes! We had the famous pineapple pastry, coconut custard bun and green onion buns. The pineapple pastry comes individually wrapped and is filled with delicious concentrated pineapple on the inside. Certainly worth trying! The buns had an awesome structure and good flavor too.
Best Asian bread to get!! The price is pretty nice and lots of choices (including green onion crispy bread)!! Must come here if you are a bread lover:)
Delicious baked goods! Egg tarts are thankfully not too sweet, which is usually a problem I have with them. Coffee is good, and the other specialty beads are too. Definitely recommend it.

Sheng Kee has a wonderful variety of Asian cakes, breads, and pastry. There are Moon Cakes galore. Prices are great!
Sheng Kee is a solid little bakery on Telegraph in Berkeley. The selection of Pastries can be a little intimidating if you're not familiar with these kinds of desserts, but as long as you're not easily overwhelmed, it's definitely navigate-able. They also have a small selection of full sized cakes, so it's a good place to stop if you're a college student looking for a Birthday cake in a pinch. Sheng Kee's boba is not bad, especially for a place that's primarily a bakery. There are definitely better boba options in Berkeley, but the boba here is solid. Take advantage of the specials they run on Chubby cups if you can! It's a good deal for 2 big cups decent quality boba.
