In subzero temperatures, the mud freezes and you can walk! There are many different paths, we also walked through the forest. On the Google map, the main paths are indicated by a dotted green line, but these are only the widest. the Internet and communication did not work in the forest! (February 2021). We do not know if this is always the case.

Loads of alternative routes for a safe walk as the paths and tracks are wide enough to remain socially distanced. Excellent cafe is still open for takeaway food and hot/cold drinks. Staff are brilliant, always friendly and polite. The cafe is very safe and well organised with everything clearly set out. Remember to take your card though, as the cafe is cashless at the moment. Highly recommended.

Such beautiful walks, plenty of parking but get there early! When we left at 10:30 there were ques to get in. We downloaded a map to follow for one of the walks which was mostly well signposted. Definitely wellie time of the year with all the mud so go prepared. Also there is the cafe and catering barrows but be prepared for ques
