I used Berkshire Structures recently for initial advice & then the detailed design & documentation of all structural work associated with a new build property. This included specifying the design of the property's foundations, all internal/external walls & associated load bearing beams & staircases. The structural drawings were used by the builders to ensure that the property was built to the required design & structural standards. I found Berkshire Structures a highly professional & responsive firm with many years of extensive structural engineering experience; their MD, Phil Ross being a notable expert in all aspects of structural engineering work. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services to anyone looking for advice & design support in this specialist area.

Rip off! I got a quotation with very little detail which I accepted; turned out I was expected to pay for an appraisal to get a quote for the works. I rang the Institute of Structural Engineers to complain and it turns out Berkshire Structires is not affiliated to them at all. Absolute waste of money.
