I don't think I would have found this place if I hadn't been taken there. If you want a really good schnitzel this is the place. I ordered the chicken breast version with a cornflake coating. I wasn't expecting two sizable pieces to arrive on the plate alongside a big pile of fries. The wine selection is not really a selection but the white wine was delicious that we ordered a whole bottle after quickly polishing off the glass. We were 6 people, the Weiner schnitzel, the carpaccio salad, the Spätzle and the dumpling dish were all excellent and the bill was a nice surprise too. Definitely worth a visit. I'm looking forward to the next visit.

Awesome traditional Xmas goose dinner!
We were looking for a good local German style restaurant and we decided to try Vogelweide. It was a good choice. It's not a place if you're in a hurry, it takes time before you can eat. The food is good, although I had better, but the stuff makes up for the small shortcomings. Great people, very cozy place, recommended. The food only would be 4* but the stuff gain 1 extra :-)
Tasty Argentinian steak with fried potatoes and salad for fair price. Highly recommended.
