Most people would have ordered the baked pork knuckle, but I wanted to try to boil pork knuckle as I've been eating too much friend and baked food lately. The portion is huge!! I couldn't even finish half of it. This is more like a sharing portion to me. The pork knuckle is so tender that it just melts in your mouth. The potatoes are fresh and cook just right!

Very friendly staff, delicious food, fast and quality service, great ambience, everything I expect from a restaurant. Although the restaurant was full they let us in without problems and gave us a nice table. some other restaurants put you in the worst possible place when you don’t have a reservation. and the best of all I really appreciate is when the waiter asks if we are happy with the food. They ask for feedback. That is service as it should be. Thank you
Best pork shank in Munich. More than just a meal, it's a Bavarian experience! Must go in Munich. Close to the glockenspiel. Terrific place. Teddy bears everywhere. Service was fantastic. No air conditioning ... but who cares? You don't need it here. We had the knuckles and they were delicious.
This cafe is not the best choise for a tourist because menu is completely writen only in german! Pics of other customers here looked great so I decided to visit the place when I traveled to Berlin. The meals were fresh and tasty, however the schedule is really weird. The cafe opens at 16.00 though it is not a club or place for party time, so having a dinner here is kinda problematic, only supper I guess! Prices are appropriate
Very nice restaurant . The staff was very kind and helpful, they could also speak in English. The service was fast, the amount of the food was huge and very tasty. The prices was good. Really worth it eating there.
