For a family of five, this location was perfect. Maxine, the host, met us upon arrival and set us up in the two-story apartment that sleeps maybe eight. Very clean, walking distance to the old town and river, and more than enough room for us to spread out! Way better than a hotel! We would stay here again without a question and recommend to any family looking for enough space after a long plane ride. There is a small balcony off the kitchen for morning coffee and evening beer/wine. The espresso machine in the kitchen makes it quite easy! The neighborhood consists mostly of embassies and it was fun to identify the flags. Down the street is the Migros market for groceries, we got stuff for breakfasts. For transportation, the apartment comes with a card for free transit on the trams and buses. We used them to get into the old town and home again when we were tired.

A Fantastic Experience - The host was friendly, efficient, very helpful. The stay we could not complain. All we needed was provided. Very comfortable stay. They also provided Metro Cards, Fruits, Coffee Pods and Chocolates and Biscuits. This was replenished every day. The rooms were cleaned daily and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The day we were going to vacate, we asked the land lady to arrange a taxi for us to the train station as it was very early in the morning. In the morning when we came down there was a van waiting to take us to the railway station driven by the hostess itself and they would not get any money from us for this and these things that make the stay more memorable. I would highly recommend this place. I have never give a 5 star rating and this is the firsy time and they deserve it hands down.
The property is excellent. Both the Hosts make you feel like part of their family, they could not have been more helpful and friendly. Great location. Just perfect. We were so delighted to be able to pick up groceries within walking distance of the apartment and come back to prepare our own meals.
“Great place to stay for a weekend or longer. The host (Owner) is very kind and genuinely caring, She is always there if you need anything or any help. The apartment itself is well maintained, always clean and tidy, only 5 minutes’ walk for the city center and all the shops, but in a very quiet and nice neighborhood, feel very blessed that we have the opportunity to stay here, whenever we are in Berne. Well-deserved 5* for everything -

这个中国人可能不习惯，标四星。但因为是本地一家人的房子，把地下室(有带天井的窗户)做成一个客厅，带开放式厨房，一个浴室，一个卧室，优点是居家的东西都有！可以做饭吃，主人很热情，送水果，水，饼干零食，还有咖啡。缺点洗脸池因为节约空间，太小无法洗东西，不通风，地下室给人感觉也不好，毕竟也180欧的价格。
