It is called the Bernese Rialto Bridge, but it is not nearly as good as the one in Venice. The original one, in Venice, is significantly older yet still looks a lot more robust than the Bernese one. On the plus side, the bridge in Bern is a lot less touristy.

Die Berner Rialto-Brücke ist ein kümmerlicher Pendant zu seinem Namensvetter in Venedig. Der angehobene Brückenteil ist denn auch das einzig Verbindende. Dennoch ist es schön, wenn sich ein Objekt zu Assoziationen anbietet. Unter bestimmten Bedingungen der Wetterlagen, etwa einem Abendrot, lassen sich natürlich zu recht romantische Gefühle aufkommen.
