Very nice brasserie. The service was great and very friendly. Food was good and price are correct (for Switzerland!). Its recommanded to make a reservation if you want to go there on a Saturday evening.

Best restaurant in Bern. Mr Gerald the owner was attentive at all times, generous with portions (a rare commodity these days). The brasserie's food was delicious, impeccably cooked. And the dessert was to die for.

I had a nice experience with my dad & my kids... The restaurant is nice, classic in style & serve swiss food. I found it by chance while walking looking for a restaurant. The waiter was kind & helpful, but I found difficulties to communicate with the staff as they don't speak English. What upset me is there were no English menu as well! My dad ordered Red snapper fish. It was delicious. I ordered green salad & it was good. The waiter recommended Dberlander Rosti & I'm so grateful to him. It was so delicious & the first time I try it. The children loved it too. So overall, it was nice new experience & the only negative point was no English menu. Hope you will find it useful.

The staff were extremely friendly, but not quite on the ball. Orders came out wrong, drinks had to be requested multiple times. The atmosphere is very nice, excellent location. Food was mediocre. I ordered the venison cutlets which came out overcooked and dry. The sauce was not particularly flavourful. The side dishes and garnishes were a little bizarre, with nothing on the plate really making much sense (picked cabbage, croutons, stewed pear two ways, chestnuts, brussel sprouts). Her dish was the lamb shanks which was hearty but reminded of home cooking. The mash potatoes were excellent. For entree the tartare was ok, and the lobster bisque was great with added salt. Overall, not impressed with the food or service, but the location and staff friendly attitude deserve a star each.
