Seems like the people that work here are good. The main problem lies with how expensive each and every service is. We recently switched vets to Best Friends and have been disappointed. In a month and half, we have spent easily more than double what we did with our previous vet all last year. The same service here is costing us more than double what our previous vet charged. Its compounded by the fact they constantly upsell into services that aren't needed. For example, we were told to check with the airline if a health certificate is needed. We checked and were told by the airline we didn't need one, told them that and they stated that we really do need one. It was 37 to have them fill out a one page form. We also asked for two anxiety pills (which are 10 cents each on Chewy). They gave us 30 and charged 30. The service did seem on par with our last vet, but a poor value overall.

I adopted my rescue puppy 6 weeks ago and Best Friends veterinary Center has been absolutely amazing in making this transition go smoothly. My dog is fearful of new people and BFVC has been nothing but kind, supportive, understanding, and patient. Dr. Paige Wilder is so knowledgeable and friendly. The techs, especially Olivia and Allie have been patient and supportive of building a trusting relationship with my dog. Front desk staff is also excited to see us and have provided great customer service and been extremely helpful in person and over the phone when I have questions. I feel that BFVC provides the best care for my dog. I would recommend BFVC to anyone with a pet.

I love the care my pets receive from BFV. I really appreciate the follow up text messages to check how things are going when medicine is given. Great place & I enjoy the relaxing drive to get there from Milwaukee.

Dr. Boss and all of the people are very friendly and are good with your pets. I am very glad that Dr. Boss takes good care of my ferrets(and specilizes in ferrets). Everyone treats your pets like their own.
