Panaderia Moar (or Moar Bakery) is a world class institution of one of the very few left world wide. It has produced for more than 50 years very high quality bread which is produced daily in a traditional Galicia bread oven. Pay a visit and you will find various bread formats including the highly celebrated "Rosca" for which Galicia is famous. The ingredients utilised are 100% natural, with -nothing- extra added. Bread lasts for 2-3 days because of this purity. They also produce highly acclaimed EMPANADAS or Galicia Pies, usually filled with tuna fish (bonito), meat, and zamburiñas (Galician shell fish). However, if you have the time, you can also do your own filling and artisan Mrs. Carmiña will use it to do your own pie. In my opinion, and for my personal taste, this is the best bakery that has ever existed worldwide, and I've been to over 70 countries. Pay a visit if you ever visit Betanzos, just seeing the bakery is a jewel in its own right. By some bread or empanadas for your days in Galicia. Ein unbedingtes Muss für jeden Betanzos-Besucher. Das beste Brot ever und die Empanadas sind ein Traum. Der Grossvater des aktuellen Bäckers war vor über 50 Jahren dort angestellt. Danach hat er die Bäckerei übernommen und nun ist sie in der dritten Generation. Immer noch der alte holzbefeuerte Ofen, Holzregale und ein Ambiente wie in der "guten alten Zeit"
