Very friendly church
We visited from out of town for a family members baptism. The have coffee, tea, hot water, and donuts out in the lobby standard. I'm not certain what was available in the children department as I didn't go to that part of the church.
Friendliness: The pastor greeted me promptly (Rick). A few friendly people said hello but were not invasive. They gave a visitor gift that day, prints of the beautiful bridge outside the church. Afterwards, I received a courteous thank you fit visiting our church, handwritten, and personal details card with an invitation to come visit again when in town. This was a very thoughtful church.
Cleanliness: the bathrooms are immaculate. The baptismal font was spotless. The nursery looked well maintained. I was delightfully impressed.
Activites: I noticed the church was large enough to have great amenities. There was a prayer garden, a nursery for babies, a youth school broken up by ages, a basketball court, an activites area (I presume a kitchen as the had advertising for meals and social pot lucks), and a sizable parking lot with handicapped and guest preference parking, as well as a front door circle drive for elderly.
Service: The service had live, gentle music. Three congregation was quiet, peaceful, with a few hands in the air for worship. The teaching was from whom I assumed is an associate or youth pastor that day. I took notes. It was a basic, yet appropriate sermon with no noted issues or false doctrines. It was a very
ormal\ and extremely kind church. Two members invited us to a celebration luncheon in honor of the guest we came to see. They didn't even know us, and extended a delicious meal. When they say \come over for sandwiches\ they meant something extra special. Quiche, pie, ake, cookies, salad, homemade rolls, chips, dip, pickle tray... all of if.
It was sincerely a wonderful time. Pastor Rick and Bob C's family, thank you for welcoming and hosting us. It was a pleasure.
