Great dispersed camping here for 3 nights in early March. Just enough people to make you feel safe but not intrusive. Wide open level area, plenty of space for 8 sites with loads of space between. Well used trailhead, several trails to hike and bike. No trash receptacle and pit latrine not the nicest.

Great for a novice rider! The twister and clay climb are quite challenging. Bring water and food and stay a while.
Trail is nice. I went bike packing here and camped along the creek. The water was ice cold. And the park ranger was very nice. I will go here again
Excellent well marked trails mlstly flat. I heard the Couch trail was the more difficult trail. I went on the South Bethel, pine lizard, and Badlands.
Lots of great trails for hiking and mountain biking. Some areas are smooth and you can cruise along at over 10 mph. Other area are bumpy with roots. There are several bridges and one part of the tail rides along a small sandy river. The spent of pine permeates the air!
