Is a nice investment to go to to ur hair done nice girls there.
Mercedes did my hair. I live out of town and was looking for a salon that could do a blow out on natural hair kinky hair. Great personality and excellent service. Prices are great! Also they open up at 9 on Saturdays. There was no wait when I arrived. Be prepared to pay for parking at the meters. Great experience!
Although everyone does a good job, I prefer to go to Mercedes, the owner. She's awesome and genuinely cares for the health of her clients' hair. I wish they took appointments. (The reason for less than 5 stars) It's first come, first served and on holiday weekends or back-to-school times, the wait can be exhausting with my 2 daughters. I guess that's just a sign that they're good at what they do. If you can, go on a weekday morning. That's my preferred time. You'll be in and out in no time!
Really was not as great as I expected based on past reviews. Main hairdressers mentioned are no longer here. I think I expected much more based on the reviews I read. I paid 86 for my roots to be touched up, wash, cut, blow and a conditioner. Hair color looked good at first but then I saw the back of head and my roots were not done properly. I have not returned since because while I explained what I wanted and the owner was very nice, I was given excuses as to why I could not get my hair the way I wanted it. I guess I am cheap, pero no regreso.
Most places don't know how to do African American hair and they make you feel like you have bad hair just because they don't know how to mange it. This salon isn't one of those! They're very nice and they now how to mange different types of hair no matter what race you are. I've been going there for a few years and never had any complaints. The owner is a godsend!
