Nice bhai g
Nice big camp rooms. Best Internet ever for a camp. Food is absolutely disgusting. Lunch options you might as well go hungry. The food is the worse I have ever had. Only time it was almost good was when they had the H1N1 flu outbreak. The staff (cleaners. ) change things in your room constantly and have no respect for how you set up your room. The worse possible camp I have ever been in besides millennium. Like I stated earlier. The only good thing about this camp was the Internet
The camp is actually pretty descent with clean rooms and good facilities, but if you work for certain companies like aecon you can expect complete ineptitude from management regarding anything to do with security. Recently I had my boots stolen from my locker and was given a good run around with nothing done to resolve the situation. If there was any other work in sask most people I have talked to would work anywhere else instead of an inept company that sits on there hands in any given situation.
The food at this camp is the worst, rooms are okay and no complaints about the internet speed except for the constant having to agree to accept their terms to use their internet connection. You basically have to agree that they can do a "man in the middle attack" upon you and allow them to look at all your traffic including your encrypted stuff (bank, email, etc) which is even more scary than the food they serve.
The KS Legacy Project Camp is just a few kilometers west of Bethune Saskatchewan. I'm going to keep this review short listing of the Pros & Cons Pro: The rooms in this Camp are very cozy compared to the other camps I've been in. They come with a twin sized bed and your own bathroom, you don't have to share one with your neighbor. All rooms have a 24ish inch TV and a adjustable electric heater and a nice computer chair . - There's multiple entrances/exits on each side of the premises making access to parking facilities much shorter. Cons: The internet is almost useless!!! There's only a WiFi network setup for the whole camp. You can't hook up directly so If you plan on watching Youtube videos, playing online games, downloading torrents or watching any videos at all you can forget about it. They always cut out and stop buffering/loading - (This one doesn't bother me at all but I've seen lots of people completely loose their minds over it) The security company at the camp are very strict with their jobs. They'll stop you before the gate, get your names, look at your vehicle permit, confirm all the info is proper then wave you up to the main gate. You then have to swipe through and they do a full vehicle search. FULL SEARCH TOO! "They have a job to do so just be friendly and let them do their thing" - The food in the cafeteria is absolutely disgusting most of the time because they have to accommodate people with allergies. (The staff inside the Cafeteria are all nice, upbeat people though) - The store inside the camp is way overpriced - The fire alarms go of way to often in the middle of the night. - You're in the middle of nowhere, you can't just leave and go for a walk and see some scenery, get exercise, etc.... We're here to make money, it's not a vacation so just disregard all the above .........
Awesome place to have worked for the past 11 months
