We stopped at this beautiful winery on our way back from Bevagna and so glad that we did. Although the winery was closed when we drove up, the owners were hanging out enjoying the day and the lovely Norena gave us a private wine tasting tour. Awesome winery, we found out later that the founder has 3 wineries, one in Freilio near my grandpap's birthplace, another in Tuscany and this one here in Umbria. Norena was so pleasant, she too didn't speak a lick of English and couldn't speak a lick of Italian! But we had a great time and we left away with three of their awesome wines. This Umbrian winery rocks, the prices here much cheaper than in the US if you can find them. We will definitely be looking for more of their wines to purchase back in the US.

We had a perfect tasting at fattoria colsanto. We tried several wines accompanied by very detailed explanation. Elisabeth has a lot of knowledge about everything wine-related and was an amazing host overall! Well recommended.

Varcare il cancello di questa cantina è veramente come entrare in un piccolo angolo di paradiso. Un'esperienza assolutamente da non perdere, a cominciare dalla persona che ci ha accolto in cantina: Elisabetta, sommelier estremamente preparata, gentile e professionale. Posizione incantevole e panorama unico su tutta la vallata di Assisi. Ottimi i vini. Impossibile tornare a casa a mani vuote!
