We just had the kind of experience you look for when you read guides, articles, blogs. We found a truly local place where the cook is also the waiter and the food is what the season and the local countryside offers. The place makes you feel warm and at home and suddenly you are not a customer you are in the Kitchen of a newly met friend. for a place that is warm, has great food and where you truly feel at home. It is difficult to put in words how truly magnificent was our experience with Diego today. The decoration is great. The music made us sing along and shazam all the time. The food delivered perfect at 2.40 pm in the afternoon...left us mesmerized and silent. But the most amazing thing was the vibe of the place, the place emanates love and passion in every little detail. And it's the love and passion Diego has put in this project that is just 4 months old but is one of those rare pearls that end up in some major newspaper or book guide and then.....the secret is not anymore. I truly heartfully recommend it; and myself will come anytime I am near Assisi and want a sublime food and soul experience .

Ci siamo imbattuti per caso in questa osteria, una casina in pietra a ridosso delle mura di Bevagna..entri e ti sembra un ambiente familiare, una piccola stufa accesa, in fondo alla sala, a fianco, una poltrona in cuoio..ti siedi, inizi con un buon rosso locale e intanto l'oste ti illustra il menù..piatti dagli ingredienti e sapori genuini, legumi, salumi, sformatini caldi, formaggi...sapori della tradizione che riafforano ricordi d'infanzia...prosegui con primi piatti altrettanto gustosi, pasta al dente e condimenti che ti senti in dovere di \fare la scarpetta\. Pieni, abbiamo comunque preso un secondo, come assaggio...carne morbida come il burro, patate al forno che ricordano la nonna..il tutto accompagnato da vini rossi di cantine del luogo..caffè, tortino al cioccolato (naturalmente di produzione propria)..il tutto allietato dalla ospitalità e gentilezza dell'oste e musica di sottofondo..DA RIPETERE!!!

Locale piccolo ma molto caratteristico e accogliente. Menù con sapori tipici ma rivisitati in modo originale. Fettuccine al Sagrantino con funghi ubriachi e dolci con fragole e crema strepitosi, il vino bianco sfuso si beve che è un piacere. Proprietari giovani e meravigliosi, ti accolgono e ospitano con passione e quella sana estrositá che rende il ristorante un luogo al di sopra dell'ordinario.
