A hidden gem really - the construction is historic and extraordinarily beautiful but the gardens are really the special thing about this place. It is exciting to visit over the seasons and see the hard word put by the gardeners all year round. Historical trees witnessing centuries are also one of my highlights! Special day out and a beautiful set for a wedding too! (if you can afford!)

Beautiful old house in large well maintained gardens. Lots of interesting things to look at, including some comedy topiary. We'll certainly be back next year so we can spend some time in the spring and summer.

Lovely place for a walk. Due to covid restrictions the historic house was closed. I imagine the place is very picturesque in the spring and summer with all the flowers.
