Easy way to hop between a ferry tour over the Bosporus and a walk on Taksim Square and the surrounding pedestrian shopping streets. It might be worth mentioning that this is NOT the historical Funicular of Istanbul - but that it was built rather recently in 2006.

The cable train bring passengers to the top of the hill \Taksim square\. each train has slightly inclined floor to make people be much comfortable during the train service. Just finished dolmabahce palace tour and take the cable train and arrive taksim square. after that heading to galata bridge, penetrate istikral street!!

If you are at the seaside, you shoud cross the street by patrol station and Kabataş tram station in Street Island. You find the entrance at the otherside of of the street.
