Centre government has taken the decision to establish the 5th national data centre in the year 2018. Bhopal has been short listed in for the same in June 2018. On 18th June central information and broadcast minister Shri Ravishankar prasad has announced in New Delhi regarding the national data center at bhopal. Immediately Govt has alloted 5 acre land in badwai at New Jail Road near IT Park in Bhopal. This will provide the huge data storage capacity to the state of Bhopal and to the nearby states.
