One of the worst experiences ever in getting to use my Royal Sundaram Insurance (RSI) on my Creta. To start of with the Inspector - Deepak Bhagore assigned to my case. Most unprofessional individual whatsoever. First approves my claim, then comes back the quote from CI Hyundai bodyshop is too high and not in line with how they would want the body scratches to be taken care of. He wanted CI Hyundai to deviate from the standard quality process followed by Hyundai and make do with just paint touch up to the affected areas. Since CI Hyundai was not ready to work based on the shoddy repair standards set by Royal Sundaram, the claims inspector wanted me to take my car to a non-Hyundai body shop who would do anything per Royal Sundaram's unprofessional work standards. I also got to know that this is a tactic that RSI Bhopal has used all the time with Hyundai car owners in arm twisting them.to take their car outside of Hyundai body shops. Also, I have understood that RSI Bhopal has never had any association or got work done at Hyundai dealerships in Bhopal. A very lowly Insurance organization. Inspite of escalating it to the manager - Manish Tiwari, there has been no respite leave alone updates. Not to mention the useless Customer service number available online to register complaints. For three days I have been calling and have not been able to reach 1 Human being. Trust me and dont go with the competitive premiums that they offer on your new car when purchasing an insurance. I haven't had to use my insurance in 2 years and now when I have gone to claim something, this is the customer experience..One would expect that the customer is treated like king and customer obsession should be at the forefront. Please stay away from RSI.
