We hired TOBC for our wedding and initially we were pleased with them based on the quality of their bar and their flexibility. However, we quickly became concerned about their poor communication as we had to chase them on numerous occasions to confirm various aspects of the booking. The team setting the bar up the day before the wedding were great and very friendly. On the day of the wedding, the bar staff removed all the alcohol we had previously agreed we would be able to offer our guests, an our early. This was alcohol we had personally paid for and it had been agreed that it could be available until 6:30 when the bar would open. In reality, all our alcohol was removed by 5:30 and the bar refused to sell alcohol at this time. At this point, one of the bar staff members mentioned that the mimimum spend limit was 750 - when in actuality the limit was 500. This had been ageed in writing beforehand. Additionally, the bar staff tried to close the bar prematurely by about 45 minutes without any notification. Fortunately my husband was able to get them to remain selling drinks up until the time we had initially agreed (and paid for). But this should not have happened and he shouldn't have had to deal with them trying their luck on his wedding day! In summary, their bar was aesthetically nice, some of the staff were very friendly, they had a good range of drinks and a good quantity, but based on their lack of professionalism both in communications leading up to the wedding and the behaviour of some of the staff on the day, I would not recommend this company if you plan on having a seamless event.
