Got the 3-sausage sampler (Classic, Bavarian & Spicy) and loved all three. Also enjoyed some curry fries and a vanilla cream filled pasty. The sausages I wouldn't say are too "heavy", which is nice because you can wolf them down with some fries and not feel like you ate an entire animal (like you might at Wurstkuche). Great atmosphere and very friendly owner!

The food is always great. The sausages are so good, as well as the curry fries. Pretty much everything I've ever eaten there has been great. The only exception is the pretzel, but that is probably just a matter of taste. To me the pretzels have been super chewy, almost like they were sitting out too long, but maybe that texture is the way it's supposed to be! Service has always been nice. The chef/owner has also been there every time I've gone in, so you know he cares a lot about his restaurant.

Great food! Their food is really good and their pastries are out of this world. I recommend the 50% Pork and 50% Beef burger which is amazing. Their pastries are also unreal, made fresh on premises in their adjacent bakery. Some of the spreads on sandwiches can be a little different from what one would expect, a result of their ingenuity, but make sure to read the menu closely so you know what you'll be getting.

I went with some girlfriends and we had an amazing dinner! Sausage, grapefruit beer, and dessert. It was all good!

If you have ever spent time in Austria or Bavaria...you'll readily grasp the quality and authenticity here. Today...I had a pork schnitzel sandwich, one of their genuine beers and took home some fresh bread, Semmmeln (rolls) and some landjaeger.,,,the little sausages that are always sold in pairs. Suffice it to say that this place has nothing but top-quality and is the "real deal". Service is excellent. You won't find healthier or tastier bread than here. The little sausages are simply the best I have ever eaten in the last 50 years...trust me on that.. Schnitzel sandwich was prepared just like in Austria or Bavaria...only maybe better than many in the homeland.I will stop there any time I am near LA...I hope they open something closer to Orange County...but that is probably wishful thinking. I can't wait to get back up there again...which will happen in about 2 weeks...

::WARNING:: THEY WILL CHARGE YOU SERVICE FEE!! :: Fortunately, service was great...but this bothered me a lot and I'm sure other yelpers will point this out as well. It would have been nice if they at least gave me the heads up about this. ::Food:: I got the 15 sampler (with service charge it's 19.29)where you get to choose 3 different sausages plus a side of 3 different kinds of bread. The food is pricey, possibly because they serve quality sausages. The one filled with cheese was def my favorite. My 5 coffee with service charge was 6.43 ::Service:: 5 stars for great service and everyone who worked there were super friendly and helpful. ::Location:: A bit hidden. They're located in that hallway near Guisado and Gelato Uli. You can't miss the place when you walk by it. Parking may be a bit challenging.

Not all grand openings are Grand. THis place mus bring its act together, lower their prices or close. If the pretzel and sausage were crispy and hot like the fries and the beer cold like the pretzel still would rate it a 3. I had a warm sausage (not steamy) a cold chewy pretzel that could have been from two days ago, a beer that wasnt crispy cold, glass sweating kind and excellent hot crispy fries. For 28 I could have lunch twice in downtown or go to wurstkuche for real deal.
