This is my serenity place. This place is my piece of heaven. I drive 10 hrs from TN to just spend a day here then to drive straight back. This place is my heaven on Earth. Beautiful and catch tons of blue crabs.

Great spot for a long walk in Lacombe. Trail is well maintained but the road is a little bumpy driving in. Always a great visit. Very dog friendly too.

A great place for a walk. Shore birds and waterfowl are often present. Interesting plant life and mix of marsh and pine trees.

A pleasant place to take a walk. There's a boardwalk build over the swamp Sometimes you can see an alligator. You can always see a large bird a giant egret.

It was a decent walk, lots of information along the route. The overlook a little bit before the end was a stunning view of the marsh. The ending is a surprise, but is well worth the walk. For those interested, there is a geo cache at the end. It is not a circular route so you walk back the same way you walked in, but it is well worth the trip.
