Paul is true gentleman knows his stuff too,only went into to have a rear puncture fixed ended up buying a new bike,the shop is compact and a real treasure trove some great bikes and accessories in I recommend it highly it's a great feeling buying a bike there cheers jonty

I have a fairly expensive carbon-framed Scott MTB which I'd bought from Evans who subsequently lost their Scott franchise, and the bike needed to be serviced at a Scott dealer, so I obviously wanted it to be done properly. I was impressed by the google reviews and even though it was a 20m trip each way it was well worth it, Paul assessed it pretty much on the spot when I brought it in and told me it needed a new chain, and they later discovered the bottom bracket was worn out. It cost me more than the very reasonable 45 service but I really didn't care, I left knowing my bike was back up to scratch and I will be back for the next service, no question. They also got hold of a Scott owners manual for me which Evans had never provided so I just feel they are top notch and deserve recognition. It's not often I say that as mediocrity is everywhere these days.
GREAT SERVICE. Within 10 minutes of ordering the bike, they rang back to confirm the order and to arrange a time when to pick it up. When I arrived I was shown straight to the bike and was told everything I needed to know. Will definitely be buying from Bikes 'n' Gear again.
Rolled to Bikes ‘n’ Gear when my friends chain snapped. They were very helpful; quickly put a new chain on and gave us some great advice about the bike which we had recently bought second hand. Would definitely recommend.
