I started out as a complete beginner with zero knowledge about playing a guitar. Dan is very unique in molding the classes according to my goals, interest and learning capacity. Nowadays I am not scared to learn a song that I might stumble upon. Also vast set of material he has to offer.

Dan is a great music teacher! Not only great teacher but he keeps it interesting and fun so you want to keep learning! Also has been teaching my 7 year old and he’s amazing with kids!
Dan is a very friendly and flexible music teacher with an enormous amount of musical knowledge! I took piano lessons with Dan for about six months. I had no prior experience to piano, but he was a great teacher. I mentioned that I was interested in jazz, contemporary classical, and some pop songs, and he was able to teach each genre to me. He also shared a lot of music books via PDF which was great so I didn't have to purchase additional materials At least during the time I took lessons, Dan had a system where you paid for four weekly lessons at a time. If I was unable to make my time during the week for whatever reason, he offered other times he was available so I could make up my lesson The only reason I stopped taking lessons was because other commitments in my life were overtaking my free time, but I truly enjoyed having Dan as my teacher and having the opportunity to finally learn piano. Thank you!
Dan is a fantastic teacher! When I started working with him, he immediately was able to ascertain my guitar skills and guide me to a program of study to bring me closer to my goal to become a singer-songwriter. He is passionate about music theory and teaching, and his enthusiasm shines through in his lessons. As a Berklee graduate, he is extremely knowledgeable about many aspects of music - guitar technique, music theory, production- and he interweaves this knowledge into his lessons. I also appreciated that he consistently encouraged me to move outside my comfort zone - to experiment with different rhythms and chords in songwriting and to think ahead to recording and performing. Also, he is a really nice guy and overall a pleasure to work with. If you're looking for a teacher who can help move you to the next level of guitar playing or songwriting, I highly recommend Dan!!
