Had my first hamper from Harper’s a week ago. Awesome quality meat. Plenty for your money too. I often get meat direct from butchers or vans and go for meal deals. Usually with other companies I found the burgers or bacon was not great. With Harper’s all the meat is great quality and great tasting. I recommend them highly.

After a few bad experiences here we have given up and found a new place for our meat Ok prices are good and you get a lot of bang for your buck but what’s the point if after spending time cooking it you can’t eat the damn thing Never had a problem with the lamb but that Scotch steak was dreadful and sorry to say bacon and chicken rancid Sorry but thats how we feel

I have ordered two hamper from Harper meats. Both have been excellent. Meat looks fresh, tastes amazing. Steaks excellent, gammon amazing beef roast super tasty. Burgers are to die for, I had never eaten a burger until I cooked Harpers for my Hubby. They smelt and looked good so I tried them . Can't wait for the next one. Only thing I would like to be able to do is make up a hamper of my choice, not necessarily free choice just pick from what is available.for example extra burgers instead of sausages or chicken instead of mince. Not being able to do this wouldn't stop me ordering set hamper.

As a regular shopper of Harpers i find their meat to be of good quality and very reasonably priced. however it does annoy me that the delivery guy just leaves my meat at the door downstairs ( outside my apartment block) and doesn't even ring my buzzer.

I've had 6 hampers the pork steaks are devine as is the pork loin roast. Lamb chops and lamb joint are the same. Beef joint is lovely too. Steaks tend to be fatty and gristly so I trim them down and put them in the slow cooker. Bacon is hit and miss, sometimes very thin and difficult to seperate, others great , lovely thick slices and very flavourful. Sausage isnt too bad, although I'd like to see some Lincolnshire sausage. The bolt ons are a great addition and the same gammon is to die for. Burgers are thick and meaty. Packaging is fantastic, ordering is very easy and delivery is super. I had one reason to complain and that resulted in 10 off my next order. I will continue to use.quality as the main hamper.
