This is still by far the best fish & chip shop in the whole of Wolverhampton. Yes at present they're not cooking all of their choice menu but that's completely understandable. The taste is unique to Majors. They invented battered chips in the 80's i believe & also invented/created the Mini fish. A smaller piece of beautiful fillet cod that just melts in your mouth. What a way they have come from when they first started out. But still producing magnificent quality food. The fish is nicely cooked, the chips are nice and hot, temperature. A bit gutted with no curry sauce but no complaints from me. If you haven't tried Majors you really should. They're bostin!!

Massive portion and so tasty. This is a mini fish on the picture. The chip is coated which makes it crispy in the outside and fluffy inside. I wish they were located closer to me. Will visit again.
Too much salt Had F&C tonight. Never put salt and vinegar on in the shop. Very hungry so stopped to have a few on the way home. I nearly felt sick they had cooked them in so much salt. It started a few weeks ago now they were plastered in salt. If you go because you remember them from your past. They are nothing like. The chippy that opened across the road stays open because Majors food is truly a memory not what they are cooking at the moment. The new owners have dropped the words Quality and tasty.
Took a trip here to try their famous chips, well worth the journey. Definitely going again.
Majors chip shop based in Bilston, is one of the best in the Midlands. The chips has an unforgettable and unmatched taste. I have off and on been having majors over a 30 year period, the taste has more or less been the same. Nice
