I just want to say that this place is such a blessing. This group of women that work there are very knowledgeable, caring, and just plain helpful. They will call you when certain products come in that you’re interested in and will hold it until you come pick it up. I pray that God increases their business so they can spread all over Birmingham. We need more places like this to support a healthier Birmingham. Thank you for all that you do to serve the surrounding communities.

A wonderful place with endless amounts of information to assist you with your health needs. Many alternative supplements, herbs, teas, vitamins, minerals and more for whatever ailment you have. Many healthy High Protein, low sugar, tasty snacks!! Diabetic friendly options. The store has a selection of vegetarian foods, canned and frozen, plus more. There are items used for cooking and baking. Knowledgeable employees with answers to your questions, and time to help you. This store has been open for 50 YEARS! The store had been plagued by fire, but is rising up from the ashes, better than ever. After changing ownership, Bama Health Foods is working harder than ever to provide a place unlike any other, in this community. Go visit and see what it’s all about. Go in and always leave with something new learned. Check out the various classes held on different days, for all ages.
This store is fantastic! I've been shopping here for 6 years every since I moved to Birmingham, and have never been disappointed. The products are superb, and the staff is very helpful. I highly recommend Bama Health Foods!
