On receiving my grades last year I found myself in unfavourable position. I decided to resit at the centre on the proposition that I would be provided the support I lacked in school, I resat all three a-levels in maths, bio, and chem and found myself understanding a lot more than the two previous years of a-level. The teachers are supportive and know the content inside out. Admissions staff also on hand if needed for ucas, personal statement etc. With this help and support from my subject tutors I was able to get an offer from university of Birmingham to study chemical engineering. Would highly recommend the centre to any students wanting to secure top grades.

I studied biology here on a retake course for one year after year 13 when I was disappointed with my results. I also retook History but I did so at home in my own personal time. The biology teacher is great, knows all the content perfectly and has very good techniques for answering questions. Would recommend for anyone retaking biology to attend this school. Admin staff also very helpful with personal statement and UCAS applications.

I had joined this centre having no prior experience. I must say I can not stress enough how much unconditional support I received with every aspect of my experience. I honestly can not fault them and I am not one for reviews usually. From motivation to educational support out of hours, these guys really deserve credit. I was not a conventional school leaving student, but I was made to feel comfortable at all times. I HIGHLY recommend this institution, if you are willing to work hard, the staff work twice as hard for you. All the way through the hierarchy of staff I was always acknowledged and helped. All in all, a great all round experience, I didn't come in to this expecting anything as such! 5 stars!

I would highly recommend BTC as a place to sit your examinations and get tuition from. They allowed me to achieve my full academic potential with their excellent teaching staff and the receiving the support I needed in order to get into my university of choice. A friendly and comfortable environment, which allowed me to excel in my studies during my time there. Also the staff gave me the academic push and challenges I needed with their excellent subject knowledge and allowed me to actually understand the subject in a more in depth way.
