Dr. Nogueira is the best and most compassionate doctor. She gives new meaning to digging her heels in. She never gave up as she used her amazing skills to diagnose our daughter and taught us to help her manage the new normal for her life. She treated us like family and we can call on her for anything. Blessed beyond measure cause of her devotion to her job and she is amazing at what she does.

Dr Nogueira has set the standard for what I believe a Doctor should be. She is extremely kind but knows the exact moment when brutal honesty is needed. Her knowledge is vast and she has a command presence the likes of which I have not seen within her profession. She demands the best from herself and all around her. On top of all that...She truly cares and loves her patients. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
This doctor was seemingly helpful and caring when she performed two procedures on our 7 year old, however we are extremely disappointed and downright appalled at how we have been treated after the fact. We were supposed to receive biopsy results from our daughter’s procedures that we were told were abnormal on a Friday (8 days after her procedure). That Friday we called 3 times and no one ever returned our call. On Monday we called 3 more times and still nothing. Finally on Tuesday I called again and a nurse called telling us that the results were normal and it was something that we had ruled out before even seeing this GI clinic in the first place. When I inquired about the abnormal places that they biopsied the nurse acted confused and said that Dr. Nogueira hadn’t commented on them at all. This doctor is the most heartless and inconsiderate (to say the very least) of any we have ever come across. You would think she could at least pick up the phone and tell us what is wrong with our daughter so that we can begin to help her finally. It’s a shame that I have had to literally chase this office around for answers and STILL don’t have any after almost 2 weeks. I would definitely never recommend this doctor or practice to anyone who is hoping for answers or help on helping their child get well.
