So thankful for the Birth Center of Baton Rouge!! From prenatal care to labor and delivery, the midwives and staff were incredibly knowledgeable, experienced and supportive. The rooms are beautiful and inviting, it’s located on the same campus as Woman’s hospital which offers peace of mind in the unlikely event of a transfer, and Dr. Ryan Dickerson oversees every client’s medical file. I felt so empowered by having a natural birth here, and I would highly recommend the Birth Center to anyone interested in a natural birth in the BR area.

The midwives are wonderful, smart, and extremely capable. A fantastic birthing experience. My baby and I were nurtured and cared for the entire labor, and I loved it that my midwife stayed by my side the vast majority of the time I was laboring. She and her nurse were very actively involved in my labor, helping me find different positions to help speed things up or alleviate pain. It was a much more affordable birth than in hospital, and they accepted our insurance (which is difficult to find in Louisiana). I definitely would recommend this place to anyone interested in pursuing a natural birth!
