First try @ surfing with my 2 teenage daughters. Had one lesson each day for 3 days. Only problem is that all good things must end since it was a short stay. Christophe, the teacher, was fantastic: knowledgeable, giving clear, simple and effective advice. He's got a good sense of humor too. After warming up, first waves and up we try. Feels so great to be trying to surf and be carried by the waves that falling is not a big deal. Did manage to stand up on the first lesson, as a couple of others did, and from there on it's too late. You just gotta do it again & again. Great, friendly staff. Plage du Vivier is also a great spot. Loved it and now I'll have to wait for Xmas, er, summer to stand on the waves again.

Great teacher, good english, awesome atmosphere! I booked Surf Lessons at Gang Surf school for 5 days and rented board and wetsuit at two separate occasions. The Surf lessons felt very personal and the teachers gave off great and fun vibe which helped to keep a cool head when having a rough time in the water. Nevertheless, the Surf instructors Theo and Bianca seemed very capable and professional in terms of teaching and tried to engage in each surf student individually. This resulted in me improving steadily over the course of the week. Furthermore, both teachers were speaking good english which was important for me as i speak close to no french. The school is located right next to the beach and the equipment is in used but good condition. Overall, i had a great time and i am thinking of coming back to Biscarosse simply because of the awesome time i had at the school. 5/5 would recommend!
